This is the story of a southern family transplanted to the Windy (and boy is it windy) City. We’re always looking for sunnier skies, warmer temperatures none of which are to be found in Illinois. We’re going to make the best of it though, and that’s what this blog is about… all of the interesting things we’ve seen and experienced while getting to know our knew home.

So who’s in this southern family? Denise and TW are the full time adults. Jenn, Chris and Michelle are part-time adults (meaning they’re not always adult like, because they’re kids, and also that they don’t live here full time - they just come to visit) and J, RJ and E are the three full time kids.
